Encounter Worship

To know Him and to make Him known.

Encounter Worship is a community of worship leaders dedicated to helping God's creation connect with the Creator. We believe these connection points, or encounters, will lead people to find wholeness, purpose, healing, and rest.

We passionately believe in mentoring a new generation of worship leaders, equipping them to lead Christ followers into a deeper relationship with God and with their faith community. We manifest this belief in various ways including trainings, retreats, camps, one-on-one mentoring, blogs, and podcasts.

These resources are specifically designed for support the local worship leader in the faith community God has called them to serve.

Our Core Values

  • The Practice of the Presence of God

We believe people find wholeness, purpose, healing, and rest in the presence of God. As carriers of God's presence, it's our responsibility to respect and guard God's presence.

  • Humility

We believe that the Throne Room is for everyone. No one is better than anyone else. We are all equal at the foot of the cross. We recognize that gifts and talents are from God and for His glory alone. His position and favor comes with a responsibility to life up the name of Jesus with excellence.

  • Integrity

We believe that integrity required to live a life of holiness before God. We are the same on the platform and in our homes. Integrity is best lived by honoring the Word of God and living as close to His Word as possible.

  • Servanthood

We believe to be like Christ we must serve like Christ. Jesus came to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many; therefore, it is our call to serve others before ourselves.

  • Community

We believe in the power of Biblical community. God never intended for us to do life alone. Just as God the Father is in community with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, we are designed to be in community with the Father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and each other. Biblical community is developed through vulnerability, grace, and time.

  • Creativity

We believe our ability to create is the attribute that makes us most like the Creator. Further, we believe developing our gifts of creativity is a mandate in our journey to discover God’s purpose for our lives.
